Joey Meadors City Manager
Joey Meadors is the City Manager for the City of Clinton, South Carolina, a position he has held since May 14, 2025, bringing nearly five decades of municipal service and leadership experience. A graduate of Piedmont Technical College with an Associate Degree in Engineering Graphics, Mr. Meadors has served the City of Clinton in numerous roles including Assistant City Manager, Director of Public Works and Utilities, Director of Administrative Services, Project Manager, and Purchasing Manager. Throughout his career, he has overseen public works and utility operations, managed budgets and grants, coordinated major capital and infrastructure projects, and played a key role in strategic planning and municipal governance. He has served on the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Association of Municipal Power Systems since 2021 and previously served on the City of Clinton PMPA Board of Directors. Mr. Meadors has completed multiple professional development programs and holds a South Carolina “C” Water Filtration Operator certification, reflecting his long-standing commitment to public service and municipal excellence.
